Sierra Doulas - Welcome! Supporting women and their partners through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum experience.

“If a doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it.”
–Dr. John H. Kennell, pediatrician & father

For Health Care Professionals

At Sierra Doulas we want health care professionals to know that we strive to work with you to care for our shared client. It is our intention and ethical responsibility to support the medical advice given to our clients by their care givers. We humbly respect the individual needs of our clients, and do our best to support the decisions they make. Our primary role during labor is to support and encourage our clients, guided by our prenatal discussions together and the changing needs that always present themselves in the course of a birth.
